Hubbard (John C.) House is built.

It is located at 15 Fayette Street. Subsequent occupants include artist Morton Bartlett, who lives here from 1950 to 1964. Bartlett makes lifelike dolls, with detachable limbs that allow him to photograph them in various fantasy scenes.
